Sustainability 🌱

As part of Team Broton, we design and optimize our power banks to be more sustainable, eco-conscious, and charging-efficient. Our goal is to extend the lifespan of both your mobile device and our power banks—so you replace less and waste less.

1.Reduced form Factor

In this new era, people don’t need heavy, blocky 30,000 mAh wired power banks just to get through the day. Broton’s super-efficient 5,000 mAh and 10,000 mAh models are right-sized to give you the power you actually use—enough for one to two full recharges and can be topped up in about an hour. Just snap it to the back of your phone and it starts charging, keeping your setup slim, fast, and convenient.

By reducing our power banks’ form factor and right-sizing capacity to what people actually need, we use less lithium per unit. That means less lithium needs to be extracted and processed, and fewer raw materials are consumed overall—helping lower the emissions footprint associated with manufacturing each power bank as shown in the figure below.

Using fewer cells also means less material processing, less weight to ship, and a smaller footprint across production and transport. The result is a more resource-efficient power bank that delivers reliable everyday charging while reducing the impact tied to raw-material extraction.

2. Optimized IC's (Efficient Charging Technology)

We don’t focus on fast charging—we focus on efficient, battery-friendly charging. Our power-management ICs communicate with your phone and continuously adjust the charging speed based on real-time conditions like battery temperature. When the battery gets warm, the system intelligently reduces power to prevent excess heat; when conditions are safe, it increases again. This helps minimize stress on the battery, reducing wear and tear over time and supporting a longer, healthier battery lifespan. This reduces long-term battery stress and helps extend your phone’s battery lifespan.

Battery Analysis run on an iPhone connected to a Broton powerbank, shows slower but more optimized charging cycle.

-Aluminium models

We prioritize environmental protection by using a recyclable ♻️ aluminium-alloy body, helping us avoid relying on harmful substances like lead, cadmium, and beryllium in the product’s construction. Our materials and manufacturing are aligned with RoHS compliance, supporting restricted-use standards for hazardous substances in electronics. Designed with recyclability in mind, aluminium also lets us build an ultra-slim profile of 8 mm - making it one of the thinnest powerbanks in the market.

-Wheat straw powerbank

Body ratio -
34% wheat straws & husk
66% ABS

One of the very first brands to make powerbanks from wheat straw & husk, an agricultural byproduct that is still being burnt in many parts of southAsia and Africa to easily get rid of from the farmland: thus converts residual biomass into something useful. By incorporating vegetable fibers into the housing, less new plastic is needed, while still keeping the power bank durable and lightweight. It's a smarter, more environmentally conscious choice that powers your phone while helping to reduce the use of plastic.
